- I'm not sure where I came across this pattern but I believe it originated from the Czech Republic. It might look very simple but it works well. I use this as a general searching pattern, terrestrial or small sedge. The fly is very buoyant and so can support a lightly weighted nymph Available in sizes 12,14,16,18
